I can't afford to host a screening. How can I make it happen?
Collaborate.
One suggestion that we always make is collaborating with other organizations, schools, businesses, etc. This will make for even a more successful screening, as more people will be promoting it.
There are also sometimes educational grants and funding through individual cities and towns.
Locally, the town hall or local DPW departments are a great resource too, considering it's benefiting them as well.
Another option is banks, as many of them give small sponsorships for events that benefit the community they are in.
How can we raise funds to help pay for the license that we purchased?
